In this class we will make a beaded kumi bracelet. We will review the basics, length of cord, types of cord, and of course beads and how many you will need.

Either way you need 2 pliers to open and close the jump rings

15/0 seed beads (around 10grams)
11/0 seed beads (less than 10 grams)

You may want to get more of your pearls and seed beads so you have enough to make earrings and a necklace.

Kumihimo Statement Necklace Supply List
8/0 or 6/0 seed beads for the top part of the necklace – How many you need will be determined by how long your necklace is. Also I used 2 colors in mine
8/0- 720 beads
6/0 – 600 beads
4mm to 8mm beads and drops Assorted
You will need 8 different beads for a count of 15 each
Clon or Slon cord

Glue- Hypo cement or 2 part epoxy or Loctite – something you can control and put out a small amount
Kumi Board
Bobbins (if you like to work with them)

Stop beads or clips. 8 of them
I will go over how to determine how many beads needed to make a certain length by bead size and how much cord is needed for length.
